   ในมุมมองของผม ถึงแม้ว่า กฎเกณฑ์ และกฎหมายและการปกครอง ต่าง ๆ ยังไม่มีความเป็นธรรมเท่าที่ควรหรือเห็นดีเห็นงามด้วย และควรมีการปรับปรุงอีกมากมายก็ตาม แต่การเปลี่ยนแปลงที่รวดเร็วอุกอาจ เกินเหตุ หรือการที่ยอมใ้ห้คนไม่ดี กระทำความผิด หรือโกงกิน มีอำนาจ และปกครองบ้านเมืองนั้น ผมคิดว่า เป็นผลร้ายแก่บ้านเมืองมากกว่าเสียอีก เช่น เมื่อปี 2475 นั้นยังผลให้เกิดการยึดอำนาจโดยทหาร และแก่งแย่งอำนาจด้วยกำลังตามมาอีกหลายครั้ง เซ่นสังเวยด้วยชิวิตประชาชนอีกมากมาย คำถามมีอยู่ว่าจากประวัติศาสตร์การปกครองของชาติเราเองหรือชาติอื่นก็ตาม การปกครองโดยผู้นำที่โกงกินและเห็นแก่ตัว เป็นหนทางที่ดีที่สุดแล้วหรือ จะนำมาซึ่งประชาธิปไตรที่แท้จริง หรือสร้างประโยชน์และความสงบสุขแก่ประชาชนหรือไม่ และสุดท้ายเห็นด้วยกับเซ็นเซอร์ ครับ ถึงจะอยากอ่านฉบับเต็มก็ตาม แต่ก็ยังอยากมีเวปที่มีข้อมูลข่าวสารดี ๆ และที่แสดงความคิดเห็นดี ๆ อยู่นะครับ พาให้นึกถึงคำสอนที่ว่า “พินิจใจตนก็เพื่อตนนั่นแล” ครับ

   The level of our education and technology, the interdependence of Thailand to the world, and the demand from all of us for a fair share in the fruit of development, will not allow the existing unjust system to continue.

   Censorship serve the benefit of the few at the expense of the majority. It will only bring more confrontational and turmoil.

   I am not Ji Ungpakorn. I stated my opinion for the benefit of the country. TomP, I know that you are not a Thai person even though you can write the language. In our culture, we do not behave the way you did: rude, sneak around, and stab others in the back.

   Ji Ungpakorn is someone that inspires me. He is a gentleman. He speaks his mind. He has a sincere intention to see our country progress. He is a serious scholar. He comes from a family that all Thais respect, admire and grateful for their dedication. I, like majority of Thais, stand by him through thick and thin.
   Ji Ungpakorn is a precious jewel of Siam Thailand.

   I am proud to offer my view about our country’s great thinker Jai Ungpakorn. He is an authoritative and distinctive political scientist. Jai’s intellect, integrity, and passion have made him is a natural leader. His views about Thai domestic politics are trustworthy not only to majority of Thais but the world community at large. I feel a great responsibility to explain the power that Thai people have given to Jai. I hope he translates it into action, to advance the country and to unify the people.

   We must not let uneducated and opportunistic people to continue destroying what is good for Siam Thailand. We want to make our country a developed and a civilized society. We will follow Jai’s intellectual strength and leadership.

   And do take a look at many articles on Jai around the world. One of them at Thai Intelligent News Weblog, dated Feb 10th 2009, titled “Jai’s Global League.” And here I quote, “Jai is seen globally as nothing but a symbol of Thai liberty, and thus his impact is expected to be significant.”

    As I’m the Chinese descendant in Thailand, I still deeply love our King Bhumipol. Your understandings are so weird and unacceptable by the majority of Thai people. I myself do agree that you are the last Dinosaur from the Jurassic-like Marxism-Leninism era. It’s doubtful that your revered father shall count you as a son if he’s alive.     You are for certain not a Chinese. You simply want to pit Chinese against Giles because Chinese is the majority of the ruling elites in Thailand. Giles Ji Unpakorn is a proud product of Chinese. Very ethnics either Thai, Mon, Laos, Khmer, Shan, Jewish, Muslim, Chinese, Westerner White or Black, etc. recognize him for his integrity. Giles is known throughout the world for being an honest man. I would be so proud of my son if he is admire for embracing a universal norms of honesty.

    Throughout Siam Thailand political history, Chinese is afraid to identify their true ethnic identity because of the prejudice against Chinese as Jew of the East. This bias concept was imported from Nazi Germany to benefit Japan against China during World War II. This was the reason why those collaborated with Japan had changed the name Siam to Thailand. It originated from the concept of Deutschland. Even though Chinese are the ethnic who built Bangkok Royal Grand Palace. The Chinese from Southern China brought in the construction knowledge since King Taksin era. That was why China town was located nearby the Grand Palace.

    The propaganda against Chinese continued through the period of the Cold War as either a capitalist or a communist. Germany-Japan till now intend to eliminate Chinese ethnic from Southeast Asia for their strategic objectives. As a result, Chinese left Vietnam as boat people and most of them died in the sea. Many Chinese were killed in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand as communist. Overseas Chinese need to learn political history.

    I am grateful for Giles Ji Ungpakorn to bring the concept of self respect and an ethnic consciousness as Chinese. I believe if we do not respect ourselves, no one will respect us. We must change our last name back to Chinese word and proud to identify ourselves that our ancestors are Chinese.

    Thank you Giles, take care of yourself now. I hope you come back home soon.
